EmiEats Pre-workout Snacks

Heya!

In true January style I have upped my gym attendance big time! So I thought I'd do a quick post on a couple of the pre-gym snacks I've been munching on! 

You want something that...
• provides slow release energy, so complex carbs like fibre are ideal. Also if they're gluten free it's even better as this will stop bloating before exercise! 
• some sugar - preferably natural sources, like fruits, for an extra energy boost
• fats are also a good source of energy - make sure you're eating the right kinds of fats though, I.e. Nuts and seeds 
• also protein is always good when it comes to a source of energy 

So I munched on a couple snacks available in the market recently which were perfect for pre-workout - but to be honest they'd be great anytime of the day! As you can tell, I do love a bit of coconut!
