EmiEats Mexican Street Food (Wahaca, St Paul's)

Hey!

So this is my second London restaurant post, from my week up in the capital!

I went to one of my favourite restaurants, Wahaca.  This has to be one of the most affordable restaurants around, as well as one of the tastiest - especially if Mexican is your kinda thing.  They have an amazing range of street food plates that are for sharing as well as individual plates - but I ALWAYS pick street food, because to be honest, I just want to try EVERYTHING.

So Wahaca is Mexican street food, and they can be found all across London now. I've been a few times and the cocktails are just as on point as the food. I've tried a few of their margaritas before, but this time I had a Hibiscus Mojito (top left). I have a serious weakness for mojitos!

They also always have great seasonal specials, so this time it was "Barbacoa Tacos" (bottom left), which were flat tacos topped with slow cooked beef marinated in chipotle - AMAZING.

So in the top right photo you can see Frijoles & Tortilla Chips just at the back and Chorizo and Potato Quesadillas at the forefront. Then at the bottom right we have Chicken Taquitos.  So Frijoles is like a black bean dip, and could be my new mexican food obsession.  Quesadillas are one of the best things, and actually so easy to make at home too, my family are big fans of these.

Head to Wahaca if you want something cheap with a bit of spice and a bucket load of flavour!

I've seen some kinda similar places dotted around Leeds, like Tortilla, which will definitely need trying I think....
