EmiEats Cereal & Cake

Heeeey!

It's been a good couple days having my bestfriend up in Leeds! While showing her the city we discovered a couple of absolute foodie gems!  If I was suggesting must visit places to anyone, these would definitely be on the list!

Moo'd Cereal House

Moo'd is the only cereal cafe in Yorkshire, and one of the only ones in the country.  So this might literally be the best cereal I have ever eaten in my life... They have pretty much every type of cereal you can think of, especially the crazy American ones! So you can make your own concoction of cereal and toppings and they even have a range of milks to choose from.  They have a menu of tried and tested combinations but its super easy to mix it up and try your own.  So I had a menu "cereal cocktail"but added and altered it a bit - Sounds A-peeling - Banana Nut Cheerios, Jumbo Coco Pops, Banana slices - I then added Toffee Crumble as a topping and switched the milk to Dark Choc Almond Milk.  If I'm honest I'm not generally a massive cereal fan, but after this, I think I might be a bit obsessed!  I've already made plans to go back next week...

Mrs Atha's

This place is my new guilty pleasure in the city centre.  It's an independent coffee shop, with a beaut selection of cakes and treats to go with their exotic coffee blends and array of herbal teas from across the globe.  It has that classic "indie" vibe that we all love about Leeds, with jugs of water infused with mint, ornate tea cups and vintage cutlery.  I could literally sit in there for days on end just absorbing the chilled atmosphere - before I even left I was texting my uni friends saying that we had to go!  We shared a whopping slice of White Chocolate Sponge Cake that was a fluffy dream. To accompany the cake I had a super smooth soy latte, served in a glass.  I just love when coffee is served in glass rather than mugs.
