So students may not think they can afford to eat fish at uni, but they are wrong! I recently discovered a white fish at the supermarket called River Cobbler, which is cheaper than the more common choices (only £2.50 for 2 fillets) such as cod and sea bass, but just as tasty!
The meal:
• I pan fried my river cobbler with some fresh chilli and garlic, then added some chopped tomatoes.
• for the veg i sautéed courgette and shredded cabbage with a healthy covering of garlic, chilli powder and pepper
• I used Sainsbury's Harissa style couscous, which is flavoured with dried tomatoes, chilli, garlic and spices, like cumin and coriander.
There's a quick snap below of the meal - unfortunately my presentation skills are absolutely awful, but you can trust me when I say it tasted a lot better than it looks!
So if you fancy some fish but you're on a budget, try River Cobbler.
