So I tried a new restaurant today for lunch; Koba, a Korean barbecue restaurant in Fitzrovia, London.
I've been dying to have some Korean barbecue for a while, so was buzzing when I found this place online! It's great because you/your waiter can cook your food in front of you on a small barbecue, which was pretty cool!
We had such a hard time deciding what to eat as the whole menu just looked amazing - I will definitely have to go back to try some other bitslike pajeons and other salads.
Anyways... Here is what we ordered and a few snaps of it:
• cabbage kimchi
• yuzu salad with pork belly
• 2 x lunch sets - 1 x beef, 1 x chicken, both marinated in Korean BBQ sauce, with side salads, bibimbap (rice with shredded veg in a hot metal bowl), and dumplings.
I always think Korean is quite different to other oriental cuisines other than that it has the same bases (noodles and rice). If you like a bit of spice and garlic, as well as a healthy serving of veg, you will love Korean food for sure!!
Koba is definitely worth a visit, and I am definitely heading back as soon as possible!!
