This weekend I headed back home, so my Dad and I went to try a new restaurant in London - Roti Chai. It's an Indian street food kitchen, but also has a more formal dining area in the downstairs of the restaurant. The upstairs almost felt like an Indian Wagamama's, where the setting is very casual and the food is fresh and fast. So the food is made for sharing, so we ordered 2 starters (lollipop chicken & Bombay phel puri) , 3 mains (railway lamb curry, Hyderabadi duck curry & kabli chana) and a side of rice. Then had the Indian ice cream dessert, mango Khulfi, served on sticks - which was the perfect palette cleanser! They also had a tasty selection of cocktails - I had a Maha Mojito, which was made with ginger ale!
Here are a few snaps of the food!
If you're ever in London it's definitely worth a visit for a taste of something different!
